Goodbye Beijing

Originally uploaded by MomTo2.

Today was our last full day in Beijing. Hannah finally got a good nights sleep. She’s been surviving on 6-8 hours of sleep a night because of the jet lag, but last night she slept 11 full hours. Hooray! What a difference it made too. She had a really great day. Still won’t eat the local food though. She’s pretty much surviving on PBJ Sandwiches, yogurt and cheese.

We went to the Great Wall. Another surreal moment. It snowed while we were there. It was very cold again in Beijing today. Nanchang should be a bit warmer, but not much.
The temperatures have dropped by about 20 degrees in both cities in the past week. Next time we come to China, we’re coming in May or October!

We leave for Nanchang tomorrow. Only two more days until Lucy!

Hi You Guys, what a wonderful experience. Keeping up with your travels is just great! I have always wanted to actually stand on the great wall, it is such a phenomana (spelling is not my strong point). Hope you warm up soon. Keep us posted. Susan and Dan

Looks freezing! Great hat Roger! Yeah, you guys don't look anything like the "typical tourist". We've
been tracking the weather from here and hope that the temperature in Nanchang is truly 30 degrees warmer, as is stated. Way to go Hannah!
